about me...
My first camera was a Canon AE-1 with a 50mm lens. I used this to take photographs for my school magazine, including developing and printing black and white film.
The costs of colour film photography meant that the pastime was shelved until the advent of affordable, but high quality digital technology became available. I purchased a Canon EOS 350D and have not looked back.
I have been able to combine my existing hobbies of amateur drama and club level motorsport with my rediscovered pastime of photography.
I have entered a number of competitions, including being a finalist in the Cat Protection annual photo competition, which attracts roughly 10,000 entrants. My photograph [below] has been used on Cat's Protection merchandise including greetings cards, diaries and their annual calendar.
